Extensometers, joint and crack measurement
A typical slip monitoring project may include using extensometers to measure crack openings and soil layer translations. Data from extensometers are referenced and complemented by other instruments, such as tiltmeters, which can capture potential rotational movements of soil layers. An alert notification is automatically triggered with exceedance of pre-set criteria.
