John Cave
Systems Engineer | BCIS
John Cave is the Backend System Engineer at Mote Ltd. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences from Auckland University of Technology, and he previously worked at a cloud security services provider to the central government in Wellington.
As Backend System Engineer, John takes the knowledge he gained working on the infrastructure to distribute open source software projects to people around the world and applies it to the systems we operate. This experience in both security and scalability helps him keep data verifiable and reliably delivered.
Outside of IT John enjoys learning languages, running and wrenching on cars.
