Role Description

Dominic is a Part III Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Auckland, currently working as a Mechatronics Intern at Mote. He develops automated workflows for scanning electron microscope analysis, particle detection, data processing, and report generation, using API development and AWS cloud services.

  • Contributed to Mote’s leading-edge research in particle analysis, working with complex technical equipment and data.
  • Developed an automated SEM workflow for particle detection, data processing, and reporting via API and AWS.
  • Collaborated with teams and stakeholders to refine the workflow, communicate progress, and deliver results.

Qualifications

Currently completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechatronics at the University of Auckland.

Specialist Skills

CAD (Fusion 360, Inventor, ANSYS), Python/React/C++, AWS/Google Cloud, and GenAI workflow automation.
