Robert’s research background is in materials and environmental chemistry, where he utilises advanced characterisation techniques to understand the structure and properties of solid materials. In the past he has applied these insights to the development of solid-state gas sensors for NOx and CO monitoring. Recently he has been exploring their applications in single-particle analysis.
